Summary
The Northern Territory (NT) Government will consider providing additional information and education for disadvantaged passengers to help them understand their rights and responsibilities.
The NT Government will work with advocacy groups and service providers to develop information for the disability and Aboriginal sectors.
Information will be provided through information bulletins.
Status
The NT Government and the CPV Review Advisory Forum will continue to consider the most effective method to provide passenger education, as well identifying information that may be of more use to a specific group of passengers (e.g. wheelchair using passengers).
Forum members representing disability consumers and Indigenous consumers will be actively participating in the establishment of passenger education strategies.
