Summary
The Northern Territory (NT) Government will provide financial assistance of a grant up to $15,000 for the fit-out of new multiple purpose taxi (MPT) vehicles.
This aims to:
- encourage the uptake of MPTs
- reduce the significant outlay of costs for MPT operators.
Status
Information about the grant is expected to be published mid-November 2022.
Once published, the NT Government will advertise and notify:
- networks
- operators
- taxi CPV ID card holders.
