New Licence Fees

The annual licence fee for Commercial Passenger Vehicle operators in the Territory will be significantly reduced under the new reforms. Below are the current and new licence fees that will be implemented later in the year.

$1 Per Trip Levy

A $1 per trip levy will be applied to all taxi, minibus, private hire and ridesharing trips to meet the revenue gap from the reduced licence fees that Government receives to cover regulatory costs.
