Daly River boat ramp upgrades
The Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics will be constructing a new car park and ablution facility at the Daly River Boat Ramp.
The new car park and ablution facility will provide a safe parking space for boat ramp users and minimise waste and dust in the area.
Repairs will be made to the toe of the boat ramp to provide safe boat launching at low river levels.
This project is jointly funded under the Northern Territory Government’s $50 million RecFishing Futures Program and the Australian Government’s Recreational Fishing and Camping Facilities Program, and supports the NT Government’s commitment to improving recreational fishing infrastructure in the Territory.
Works are commencing in late-June 2022 and are expected to be complete in late-October 2022 (weather dependent).
During these works, at times the Daly River Boat Ramp will be temporarily closed. To minimise disruptions to boat ramp users, works will occur in stages in order to postpone ramp closures towards the end of the dry season.
Boat ramp users are able to use the Banyan Farm boat ramp during ramp works and closures.
Please adhere to all signage in the area.
