Chan Building demolition
As part of the Civic and State Square Masterplan, the Chan Building is being demolished to make way for cool, green spaces for the Darwin community to enjoy.
These works are part of the historic $200 million Darwin City Deal, delivered in partnership with the Australian Government and the City of Darwin, which includes:
- Charles Darwin University City Campus
- Austin Lane enhancement

The Chan Building demolition is set for completion in early 2021.
