Ride with Respect

Published

The Northern Territory Government has partnered with Larrakia Nation to launch the Ride with Respect campaign which encourages those who travel on public transport to respect their driver, passengers, the bus and each other.

The campaign aims to promote positive and respectful behaviour in the Darwin region and the traditional lands of the Larrakia people, including while travelling on the bus.

As part of the campaign, Larrakia Nation has released updated Larrakia Cultural Protocols which set out standards of personal responsibility and respect, emphasising that antisocial behaviour is not acceptable.

Artwork by Larrakia artist Kootji Raymon representing four totems is featured in the campaign which can be seen on Territory buses and at bus stops and interchanges.
