Land release

The Northern Territory Government's biggest ever land release program is providing land to accommodate 6,500 homes and support economic development right across the Territory.

New greenfield residential estates are now under construction in Kilgariff in Alice Springs, Katherine East and Zuccoli in Palmerston East.

New industrial subdivisions are also under construction in Humpty Doo and College Road in Berrimah.

New residential and industrial subdivisions were constructed during 2015 at Kalkarindji and Tennant Creek.

Local firm, Halikos, has been selected as the preferred developer to negotiate on the redevelopment of the Territory’s largest brownfield site (over 2000 dwellings) at Berrimah Farm.
