Technical specifications

Technical specifications are used to prepare contract documents for constructing and maintaining government infrastructure throughout the Northern Territory (NT).

The following standard specifications:

  • contain the latest updates in both policy and regional requirements
  • ensure that assets constructed for the NT Government reflect best industry standards.

Read the specifications for each subject area:

Direct access to specifications via Tender Documents Online (TDO)

TDO has been enhanced and it is now possible to download specifications using TDO without having to generate a contract document.

For information on how to do this, read the Guide - Direct access to specifications in TDO PDF (317.4 KB).

It is strongly discouraged to save these downloaded specifications on your computer for future use as templates.  Specifications are constantly updated.

The single point of truth is TDO.  Only save a downloaded specification in the project file for which it was created.
