The program aims to recognise and reward outstanding staff contributions that support the department's strategic plan and values.
The awards are made quarterly:
- 1st Quarter - 1 January to 31 March
- 2nd Quarter - 1 April to 30 June
- 3rd Quarter - 1 July to 30 September
- 4th Quarter - 1 October to 30 November
If you know a staff member or team who deserves to be recognised because of their outstanding contribution, nominate them for a Staff Recognition Award using the form below:
Nominations are accepted all year round from internal and external clients, with an official call for nominations each quarter.
The nomination should:
- support the department's Strategic Plan and Values, and
- outline the reasons for the nomination which should be supported by examples.

The Executive Management Team evaluates all nominations received and a preferential voting system is used to determine the quarterly award recipients for an individual and a team.
